Zickos Drums - Artistry

I actually was one of the few people that actually built the prototype fiberglass drums designed by Bill Zickos in the mid 70's. We built them in Olathe. Buddy Ross of Kustom Amplifier/Road Amplifier fame was involved as well. They were base on the parabolic curve like a tympany drum. One prototype set was used by Cactus at the infamous "Ozark Music Festival" which I hauled to Sedalia and have pcitures of onstage. They were also used on the BB King/Bobby Bland Live in Las Vegas album. I would love to visit with anyone who still has a set.
